The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of risky behaviour and the role of a school prevention methodologist. It describes the risky behaviour occurring in secondary vocational schools and introduces the function of the school prevention methodologist in relation to the school counselling centre. Moreover, it outlines the importance of prevention and prevention programmes to eliminate the risky behaviour. Concurrently, this thesis defines specific types of risk behaviour. The practical part is based on the qualitative research using a semi-structured inter-view method. Three prevention methodologists from secondary vocational schools participated. The results were analysed using an open coding technique involving the categorisation of the data into four groups that serve as the main objects of the research investigation.
The methodology specialist's role of prevention and his self-education

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the school prevention methodologist and his/her further training possibilities. The theoretical part is divided into five large chapters. The first chapter deals with the school environment. The second chapter deals with introduces us to types of risky cho- behavior. The third chapter deals with prevention. The fourth chapter focuses on the counselling department of primary schools and the last one on the prevention method itself and the topics related to it. In the practical part I try to present the work of the school prevention methodologist and compare how practice coincides with theory. For the purpose of this investigation, I obtained eight interviews with school prevention methodologists to determine their expertise, support and cooperation, and opportunities for further training.
Comparison of primary prevention at the second level of elementary schools in Most and Prague

The diploma thesis Comparison of primary prevention at the second level of elementary schools in Most and Prague discusses the implementation of primary prevention at the second level of elemetary school in these two selected locations. The diploma thesis is thematically divided into six chapters. The first part defines the basic terminology related to the topic of primary prevention. This section also contains information about particular topics of risky behavior and counsulting services of elementary schools. The second part follows a survey among school prevention methodologists in Most and Prague. The objective of the following practical part is to identify and compare what form and under what conditions is implemented primary prevention of risky behavior among pupils of the second level of elementary schools. For the survey was used quantitative method, in the form of a questionnaire divided between school prevention methodologists in both cities. In the final part there are interpreted the data obtained in the survey, which confirmed that in both areas there are different approaches to the implementation of primary prevention at the second levels of elementary schools. The specifics of professions helping in the field of socially pathological phenomena prevention

This paper concentrates on the area of professional assistance, especially the prevention of socio-pathological phenomena in children and adolescents. The theoretical part introduces the history and current concept of altruistic behaviour, defines the basic social areas and activities for which assisting another human being is characteristic. Attention is also devoted to the services of the helping sector and its clientele. The introduction also includes the analysis of the assumptions and demands on the performance of helping profession, its hidden difficulties and the prevention of unprofessional conduct. Social deviations are a natural part of every society. They can be carried not only by adults, but also by children and adolescents. The causes, course and consequences of socially unacceptable behaviour are studied by professionals to whom the final chapter of the theoretical part of this paper is dedicated. The practical part complements the characteristics of selected helping professions listed in the theoretical part on the basis of statements obtained under the expert survey conducted among the individual professionals. It also provides their comparison on the basis of predefined specifics.
Experience of selected upper secondary school pupils with drugs

This study explores experience with addictive substances of secondary school children from one chosen grammar school. The theoretical part focuses on a quantitative research using a questionnaire. Identified themes from the research are synthesized using tables and grafts. Furthermore, the final part of this study contains an interview with the school methodologists preventer. Analysed data showed, that the use of addictive substances remains a current problem and the number of the users has increased in 2015, even though that the users are aware of the side effects. It was also identified that after comparing findings from a study conducted in 2012, the number of cannabis users has decreased about 11%. Hypothesis, that girls are frequenter users has not been confirmed. Conversely, it was confirmed that family play an important part of prevention. This study may provide invaluable information to the secondary school.
Risk behaviour of pupils at SOŠ and SOU Kralupy nad Vltavou

The diploma thesis deals with risk behavior of pupils of SOŠ and SOU Kralupy nad Vltavou. The aim of this work is primarily to find out what risk behavior is actually occurring at SOŠ and SOU Kralupy nad Vltavou, whether pupils themselves are aware of how the school attempts to prevent the occurrence of this undesirable behavior, and what is used to eliminate the risk behavior of pupils. It reveals how risk behaviors are treated in the school's basic documents and how this behavior is being prevented. It deals with the functioning of the school counseling center and the work of class teachers. Methods used for this work are document study, focus group and interviews. Observation is an additional method. Research shows that the most common risk behaviors are truancy, substance abuse, bullying and cyberbullying, aggression in the form of vandalism and vulgarism. Based on the study of school documents, it recommends possible ways of making the work of the school counseling center more effective, primary and secondary prevention at school, class teacher's work, and class lessons. The conclusion of the thesis is to recommend the school how to promote the elimination of pupils' risk behaviors. The BanalFatal program in spinal cord injury prevention.

Title: The BanalFatal program in spinal cord injury prevention Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis is to examine the subjective impressions of participants after the completion of this program (lesson) so that it is possible to assess the emotional impact of the program and its impact on the further behavior of children. Methods: A quantitative strategy was used for the research part of the thesis. For the purposes of the research, two original questionnaires were created. 6 primary schools were contacted, in which the BanalFatal program previously took place. The questionnaire, aimed at school prevention methodologists, was filled in by all addressed school staff, but only in 4 school facilities, it was possible to interview school pupils. Thus, 6 school prevention methodologists and 164 pupils from 4 selected primary schools (Prague 11, 4, Litoměřice, Dačice) were interviewed. The questionnaire for prevention methodologists contains closed, semi-closed, and open questions. The questionnaire for pupils was created in the form of a survey and contained only closed questions. PSE as One of the Possibilities of Primary Prevention

This thesis is focused on the possibility of using Personal and Social Education in implementing effective primary prevention program in elementary schools. After the theoretical analysis of primary prevention and Personal and Social Education, the second part of the thesis presents and analyzes a proposed model of prolonged non-specific primary prevention, which is based mainly on the activities of school prevention methodologist. The methodologist is educated in social pedagogy and professionally trained in Personal and Social Education. The school prevention methodologist is employed full-time for this position, he does not teach any other subject but Personal and Social Education. In this part of the thesis there are discussed demands on school prevention methodologist activities and difficulties of presented primary prevention model. The last chapter presents supporting research that took place at four elementary schools in Prague. Observations of the teaching Personal and Social Education, conversations with its teacher and also an analysis of the Minimum Preventive Program of the school were made there.
